Tickets are now available and depending on whether you want to have regular or student/senior seating, or VIP fundraising seating, can be purchased two separate ways.   Our regular price tickets will be sold through the Symphony Space box office by phone, online, or in person at the box office. All tickets are assigned seating this year. Prices are: $20 for adults or $10 for students/seniors. You must present and ID for Senior & Student tickets.
Only families that paid either early bird tuition or their complete tuition at the start of the year are on the list to receive one comp ticket, which can be combined with your ticket purchase through the box office. Eligible families will be notified as to how to claim that ticket in a separate email.
VIP Fundraising Tickets: These tickets are reserved center seating for $40 each. They can be purchased through our office/reception team, up through the day of the show. You can call also call and purchase over the phone from our reception team, 646-230-9564.

“Broadway Tap Revival”

A walking tour of the Broadway Theater District featuring SEVEN historic Broadway theaters which hosted major productions during the tap dance renaissance. Theaters include the St. James, the Broadhurst, the Minskoff, the Lunt-Fontane, Sony Hall (formerly known as the Diamond Horseshoe), the Ambassador and the August Wilson.

A tour of the famous venue, tours have about 25 people each, starting about 15 minutes apart.

If you are enrolled in an Adult Residency you are welcome to join us for daily Tap Talks during the lunch break (12:30pm - 1:30pm) each day before or after your class. Be prepared & bring your own lunch.

Brenda Bufalino will curate Tap Talks during lunch with Adult Residency teachers Dianne Walker, Max Pollak, Thelma Goldberg, and Chloe Arnold. Discussions about the different artists philosophy and practice of improvisation, composition, music for dancers, and other pertinent topics. Ms. Bufalino will also give a talk on Spontaneous Composition, and she and Tony Waag, will show some video and discuss the development, philosophy and tours of the American Tap Dance Orchestra.

Tap City puts ALL of our students on stage in a fun show of youth, teen and adult students. Tap dancers will perform for each other—on Broadway!--in an informal performance featuring the newly minted work from all of the Tap City Residencies.
